I got no chance looking like I look

Yeah I know in advance I’ve got no chance as is
So I need to send my representative
The better part of me
Showing charm you see
There’s no harm in me
Flowing harmony
All matches
No clashes
Nothing darker
To jar there

Then I won’t resent it if
Your representative
Has the sense to give

You’ve opened up, shown how you’re vulnerable
Spoken out frankly, you thank me, more comfortable
Feels wonderful
This interior tour
But I know I won’t hear the real score
I see rooms curated and cleaned

A version of perjury
When things stay cursory
But earned the name courtesy

Cos it’s hard to get past

We know our representatives aren’t sharing our story
